the russian alphabet

so i'm learning russian. this may not be a surprise to some of you since my fiancee, Bella, is Russian. I figure it'll help me get in good with her family (not to mention her). plus it sounds super cool. This is the russian alphabet - some letters are just like english (look and sound), others look like english but aren't even close, and of course the rest look like russian. {:o) i love learning languages. it just takes time and patience, and sadly i haven't had much of the former recently. but hopefully i'll be able to get to it every now and then to further my skillz. i aim to be a premium russian speaker (everything is illuminated, anyone?)
