a year ago president's day was when i moved into my corp. apt in downtown LA. it was a great couple of months. this pic is taken about midway through my stint in la. it was dusk and i was getting good lighting. i use to like to go up to the roof and just kinda look around at the surrounding buildings. going over the different details of each with my eyes. some had a carved stone look (that's actually prob poured cement) like these window arches and roof mouldings. others were way more modern. the variety and contrast was great.

here's something i'm just now wondering. see the grafitti there in the lower left? i'm trying to figure out how the heck that got there. the pool deck that i stood on to take this picture is 14 stories up.
