soUPman 14 (2:23:40 AM): aren't we all?
TheNivekProject (2:26:24 AM): ...
TheNivekProject (2:26:28 AM): no, just you scott
soUPman 14 (2:26:37 AM): oh
TheNivekProject (2:26:38 AM): a very strange unique specimen
TheNivekProject (2:26:52 AM): i think if you were frozen and aliens dug you out in 3000 years and reanimated you
TheNivekProject (2:27:10 AM): then you would be a very interesting study
TheNivekProject (2:27:25 AM): whereas they would discard the rest of us
soUPman 14 (2:27:55 AM): hahahahahahahahaha
TheNivekProject (2:29:37 AM): yes
TheNivekProject (2:29:40 AM): that's what i thought
TheNivekProject (2:29:52 AM): and then scott would be the revenging force of the human alliance
soUPman 14 (2:30:03 AM): revenging force?
TheNivekProject (2:30:07 AM): yes
TheNivekProject (2:30:12 AM): you would corrupt their teechnology systems
TheNivekProject (2:30:18 AM): using your engineer skills
TheNivekProject (2:30:22 AM): and force them back to where they came from
TheNivekProject (2:30:37 AM): and then the few remainaing humans they reanimated would band together
TheNivekProject (2:30:47 AM): and restart the world
soUPman 14 (2:30:53 AM): wow
TheNivekProject (2:30:53 AM): and propagate into anoter society
soUPman 14 (2:30:56 AM): what a big task for me
TheNivekProject (2:35:42 AM): ...
TheNivekProject (2:35:52 AM): i think the propagation part isn't such a big task
TheNivekProject (2:35:57 AM): *shudder*
TheNivekProject (2:36:07 AM): what would a world be like with little scotts running around
soUPman 14 (2:36:08 AM): mental image?
TheNivekProject (2:36:19 AM): i shiver at the thought
soUPman 14 (2:36:25 AM): right
soUPman 14 (2:36:30 AM): well
soUPman 14 (2:36:34 AM): picture me as an 8 year old
TheNivekProject (2:39:39 AM): hm
TheNivekProject (2:39:40 AM): i can't
TheNivekProject (2:39:44 AM): nor do i want to
soUPman 14 (2:39:49 AM): haha
soUPman 14 (2:39:51 AM): y not?
TheNivekProject (2:40:02 AM): just cause

Wednesday, December 18, 2002 :::

over the past few months ive begun to realize something - most people in this world are stupid. and then you say, "but wait, i'm not stupid. none of my friends are stupid. my family isn't stupid. how do you figure?" it's true. just think about it for a minute. smart people stick together unconsciously. if you're reading this, then you're probably smart. i'm smart. you know me. smart people stick together. therefore, you=smart. (if you can offer evidence as to why i'm not smart, then by all means, do tell) this is why you probably don't know that many stupid people.

so why have i come to this realization? many people have told me that almost everyone is stupid. i, being the optimistic person i am, didn't quite believe it. i had faith that most people were inteligent. but then i started paying attention. sure enough. dumbsters all over. at work, in class (yes, engineers can be dumb), out in the real world.

examples? no, i'm not going to give any. if you already agree with me, then yes, fine, keep reading. if you don't believe me, i don't want to be the one to convince you. you need to convince yourslef. hopefully, you'll go about your life thinking that most people are smart and not believing what i've said looking for ways to prove me wrong. go about your daily life. watch for it. you'll find it. people are dumb.

when our country was founded, our forfathers had a very inteligent idea. they designed the political system so that only while male land owners could vote. i say this was a good thing. (stop. wait. if you are thinking: "holy crap, scott's a racist. i had no idea..." then you are: stupid). do you know why this was the case? back in the day, if you were a white landower (a minority of the general population), then chances were that you had some schooling and were henceforth intelligent. so, if you were smart, then you could make informed decisions about polotics and our country would be good/prosperous/wealthy... as was the case then, and is now, the general population is stupid. so it made sense that only the smart people could vote. i'm not proposing anything. i don't have an answer. we can't really discriminate against people and deem only certain people able to vote. can't really take away people's rights to vote for civil war would ensue. i guess the only answer is education. but look at me, i'm in a place of higher learning, yet people are still dumb. college is too late. education needs to be done before high school.

**so yea, that's that. maybe i'm wrong. maybe all the people i kno are dumb. and i'm dumb. oh well.
