Saturday, March 13, 2004 :::

oh, i forgot. i find out tomorrow whether or not i'm going back to RYLA this summer...

so in about 24 hours i'll be real happy or more depressed than ive ever been. i had a conversation with michelle where she was wondering if i'll be more/less depressed than i was compared to last time since i'm going to a bunch of other rylas in the next few months. i think that i'll be more depressed cuz i feel like i kno i'm going to get asked back and i've become more intertwinced with the whole rotary "service above self" and since that ryla is what originally really got me into "service above self" it'll be more tough than anything if i don't get asked back.k

so as i wait for trevor to come over so we can do homework i'm gonna hit up a quick blog if i may...

nearly one weeks until my first final (only two total), but ive got so much stuff going on that it seems like ive got four finals starting in two days. ::sigh::

this quarter has been super intensive, with the finger being pointed at my cs lab class. insane class. i pulled my first all nighter because of it. the assignemnt was to design a computer processor, build it, test it, and write working programs for it. crazy! wednesday night i stayed up all night (got NOWHERE). skipped class the next day to nap for an hour and work on other hw. napped two hours at home. then came back to lab at 11 to help on project some more because we didn't finish. wasn't really doing much work, mostly watching eric do his stuff. went home around 3. blek.

but yea, i couldn't stay and help them that weekend. i went to mexico with rotaract. now THAT was uber awesome. (http://www.skizzot.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=28) as you can see from the pics, it's one of those shanty towns you hear about. extremely poor. and we put up the most basic of houses (PLUS an addition) in one full day. it was cool. when i was in ghana over the summer, people told me that it reminded them of mexico. i didn't know because i had never been to mexico. but when i was mexico, i remember thinking to myself: "hey, this IS like ghana, they WERE right...".

i can't wait until spring break. it's going to be super packed: first weekend going to SD with the crew from home. no plans. bbq? hang out? it'll be fun just to see them guys. i hope everyone will be able to come. then on sunday i fly to fort luaderdale to do an onsite interview (the job itself is in san mateo) for citrix system. computer consulting firm. job sounds real cool. lots of traveling. BUT it's in san mateo and i'm deathly afraid of being so far away from bella...::sigh:: not really any prospects in the socal area at the moment. then the citrix people are being nice enough to fly me back to san jose after interview. be home for day and a half, then driving down to LA with ame and nicole (girls i went to ghana with) cuz we're going to Kim and Barry's RYLA at Big Bear. that's gonna rock. haven't seen them in a long time. {:o)

then back for my last quarter ever as an undergraduate at UCLA.
number times beating USC at football: 0 (of 4)
number times beating USC at bball: 2 (of 8) (i think this number is right)
it's alrite, women's gymnastics and softball are really what rock my world...
